Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By installing or using ShipEstimate ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
2. Description of service
ShipEstimate is a Shopify application that displays estimated shipping costs, delivery dates, and free shipping progress to customers on your product pages. The app reads your existing Shopify shipping zone configuration and uses IP geolocation to determine the customer's location.
3. Estimates are estimates
Shipping costs and delivery dates shown by ShipEstimate are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual shipping costs are calculated at checkout by Shopify based on the complete order details. Delivery dates are approximate based on standard transit times and your configured processing days.
You acknowledge that discrepancies may occur between the estimated shipping cost displayed by ShipEstimate and the actual shipping cost at checkout, particularly for orders with multiple items, unusual weights, or destinations not well-served by IP geolocation. ShipEstimate is not responsible for any such discrepancies.
4. Plans and billing
ShipEstimate offers a Free plan and a Standard plan ($9.99/month). All billing is handled through Shopify's billing system. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
The Free plan is limited to 100 widget views per day. If the limit is reached, the widget will stop displaying until the next day.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your Shopify shipping rates accurate and up to date
- Syncing shipping zones in ShipEstimate when you change your Shopify shipping settings
- Ensuring that the shipping estimates shown are reasonable for your business
6. Intellectual property
ShipEstimate and its source code, design, and branding are the property of Michal Bajcar. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipEstimate and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost sales, or customer complaints related to shipping estimate inaccuracies.
8. Termination
You may terminate your use of ShipEstimate at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
